Anyone can stack riffs and call it “a song” but you know all too well that if it doesn’t take the listener on an adventure, it falls flat. Riff Salad. These big and wild ideas can be challenging to turn into something thoughtful and captivating without it sounding like a jumbled mess.
The difference between: an intentional Stanley Kubrick masterpiece
and a gaudy Michael Bay car crash.
That’s where I nerd out. I think about music the way a director thinks about a film: the tension, the release, the scene changes that keep your fans glued to their headphones.
If you’ve got a ton of influences, my goal is to make them feel like they grew up together. If your “big cinematic idea” is more spectacle than story, I’ll shape it into something people actually want to come back to again and again and again.
Because for me, all the nerdy little details serve one purpose: telling your story in a way your fans can.

Shane J.M. Brower is more than just an Engineer. He is an Audio Aficionado out of Jersey City, NJ, partnering with Indie and Metal Artist to enhance their current sound and evolve it. He is your band’s extra member, consolidating and actualizing your ideas into emotional roller coasters.
After decades writing songs and self recording, Shane became drawn to the importance of storytelling; using production to further the impact of the message being told. For years, Shane worked on mixing live band recordings, making tracks with loads of bleed sound like full blown albums. This devotion to polishing raw, live recordings honed Shane's ability to sculpt an artist’s sonic vision.
Your music is the deepest reflection of yourself, so by laying into your influence (bands, artists, video games, etc.) you can make music that truly represents your vision.
